DIAGEO DISGRACE

Scottish American Society

DIAGEO will close it's Kilmarnock plant.

Diageo has done as they threatened. They are closing the Johnnie Walker plant in Kilmarnock. I have personally made a vow to never down another Diageo owned beverage. This is a difficult vow to keep since it includes such famous brands as Guiness, V-O Brandy, Dom Perignon & Moet champagnes, Hennesey cognac, Gilbey's , Gordons, and Tanqueray gin, Baileys & Godiva liquers (& others), José Cuervo Golden Margarita, Smirnoff Ice & Smirnoff, Captain Morgan Rum, Don Julio

and José Cuervo tequila, and the following whisky/whiskies:

Bell's, Benmore, Buchanan's, Bulleit Bourbon,Bushmills, Black & White, Cardhu, Crown Royal, Crown Royal XR, Dimple/ Pinch,George Dickel, Haig, and the following classic malts: Caol Ila, Cardhu, Clynelish, Cragganmore, Dalwhinnie, Glen Elgin, Glen Ord, Glenkinchie, Knockando, Lagavulin, Oban, Royal Lochnagar, Talisker

Plus the following wines:

Barton & Guestier

Beaulieu Vineyard

Blossom Hill
