A very special thanks
To Jim Frost, Betty and Gene Marcus, Pam Russell, Ann & Bill Heflin,
Bob and Janet Hawes, Jack and Joan Robertson, and to all the others who helped with the Sas'y display and Genealogy.
Note, too, that others of our group were active or sponsoring their own tent or activity: Tim and Christie Walsh, Kathi
and Kona Gant, Bob and Ida Morehead, Bill and Julie Kennedy, Brian and Julie McElhinney, of course Donne & Craig Shepperly,
Alex Murray and Frances Acar. We thank everyone, though I certainly haven't listed them all.
It should be noted that our Sas'y folks were spread throughout the games,
and not just at the tent. As it should be. Several have their own clan tents, some work at various venues, some
were participating in competitions, some were running the competitions and some participated in events leading up to and following
the games. The Ohio Scottish Games are very important to the celebration of our heritage and we take great pride in
active and enthusiastic participation in this yearly event.
Frances Acar, Alex Murray, Jim Frost, Cynde Kennedy and John Snodgrass,
Russ & Kenney Luyster, the brothers Morehead (Jim and Bob), Liz and Dave Belvin, Amy & Jayson Barrington, Larry
Hunter and Judy Hunter (bless her), Pam Russell, Dave and Diane Alison, and far too many others to name, did
an incredibly outstanding job on the Beltane Festival at the Tudor House and grounds in New Franklin in May. All
our thanks also go out to Al Bollas, New Franklin mayor and to Chris Stoll and the entire crew in charge of the Tudor House. Again,
special thanks to the Brothers Morehead and J & C Entertainment who did the sound system. These folks are fabulous. They
adjusted to each group despite the varying needs, and made it all come out professionally. Applause to them! The
Beltane Festival just was wonderful.

Programs
For those of you looking at this site for the first time, we have had programs
on tracing your ancestors, on Charles Rennie MacIntosh, on the history and construction of castles & cathedrals, the Giants
of Seville, The Celtic Harp, the poetry of Wm. McGonagall (Scotland's worst poet) and a poetry contest. We participated
in activities associated with Tartan Day and regularly attend the Burns Dinner sponsored by our neighbors to the north, SHANO.
We had our first annual St. Andrews celebration in 2008 and are now planning for our sixth for 2013. If you're looking
for a sedentary, do nothing group, this is not it.
